Mr. Stephen H. Aarons was born in 1937 and is of Toronto, Canada. He served on the Board of Directors for Unit 166 from 1965 to 1980. He was Chairman of the Unit Ethics committee from 1968 to 1978, and Chairman of the District 2 Ethics Committee from 1979 to 1985. Mr. Stephen Aarons II served on the National Appeals committee from 1975 to 1983, and was the Director of District 2 from 1972 to 1975.
Mr. Stephen Aarons II placed Second in the Maccabiah Games in 1997.
Mr. Stephen Aarons II placed 10th in the World Mixed Pairs in 1978, and was npc (non-playing captain) of the Canadian Team in Seattle, Washington, in 1984, with team mates: John Guoba, George Mittelman, Allan Graves, Mark Molson, Boris Baran, and John Carruthers. He placed Second in the Maccabiah Games in 1989. He has won numerous regionals including the Can-Am Open Teams in 1969, the Canadian National Mens Pairs in 1974, the District 2 GNT, the Zone 1 in 1979, and the Gateway City Swiss in 1981, and won many regionals.
At the NABC in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2002, for the North American Swiss Teams, Mr. Stephan Aarons for Toronto placed 11th with team mates: Wayne Timms, Waterloo, Colin Harrington, Cambridge, John Moser, St. Agatha. At the same event Mr. Stephen Aarons and Mr. Andy Altay for Toronto won the first Saturday Senior Pairs event.
At the Kitchener-Waterloo Tournament in 2002 Mr. Stephen Aarons placed Second in the Knockouts, Bracket 1, with team mates: Jordan Cohen, Thornhill, Ontario; Wayne Timms and Larry Woods, Waterloo, Ontario.
At the Wolverine Regional, 2003, in Farmington Hills, Michagan, Mr. Stephen Aarons of North York, Ontario, placed Second in the Tuesday/Wednesday KO, Bracket 1, with team mates: Stephen Landen, Rochester Hills, Michagan; Larry Mori, Clearwater, Florida; Rhonda Monro and Joe Monro, Beverly Hills, Michagan; Toshiko Sasaki, Novi, Michagan. At the same event Mr. Stephen Aarons placed Second in the Thursday/Friday KO, Bracket 1, with team mates: Larry Mori, Clearwater, Florida; Stephen Landen, Rochester Hills, Michagan; Michael Zerbini, Clarkston, Michagan; Rhonda Monro, Bevely Hills, Michagan.
At the NABC in Hawaii in 2005 Mr. Stephen Aarons and Mr. Don Piafsky, both for Toronto, won the Saturday/Sunday Compact KO, Bracket 1.
