Adams, Maynard D.

Mr. Maynard D. Adams was born in the year 1912 and of Glenview, Illinois, United States. The rank of Life Master was once the highest rank any bridge player could achieve. The designation was created by the American Bridge League in 1936 and the selection of the first Life Masters was based on national tournament successes. Mr. Maynard D. Adams is Number 69 on this Life Masters list for the year 1947.

He was the first winner of the Mitchell Board-A-Match Teams, which began in the year 1946. The members of his Team were: Julius Bank, Arthur Glatt, William McGhee, and Albert Weiss.

1946 Winner of Fall National Men's Teams
1946 Placed third in Open Pairs
1946 Place third in Open Teams

Between the years 1943 and 1956 he won five Open Teams at the following tournaments:

1. All-American Regional Championships. Members of the Team for the year 1944 were: Mr. A. Weiss, Mr. R.W. Halpin, Mr. J.C. Bank, Mr. D. Clarren.

2. Central States Regional Championships. Partner was Mr. J. Kravatz in the year 1952.

3. Midwest
