Adams, Robert T., Dr. (Bob)
Mr. Robert Adams, Doctor of Research Chemistry, was born 1923 in Japan, but lived in Lafayette, California, United States. He served on the Unit Board of Directors for Oakland and Richmond, California, United States. He also authored a bridge column for the American Chemical Society magazine called The Vortex, which is no longer in publication.
His victories at the bridge table and at bridge events include:
1955 Winner of Masters Pairs at the All-Western Regional Championships 1957 Winner of Fall National Mixed Pairs 1958 Second Runner-Up in the All-Western Masters Pairs 1960 Winner of Open Teams 1965 Winner of Open Teams at Oregon Trail Regional Championships. The Team consisted of: M.K. Johnson, P. Rank, Barry Crane, and Roberts Adams 1967 Winner of Knockout Teams He won also many regional bridge events.
