Egyptian Bridge Federation - Early in the years of 1930s the Federation started under the name of the Egyptian Bridge Association. In the year 1969 the Federation was merged with the Chess Federation of Egypt under the name of Egyptian Bridge and Chess Federation. Finally, on May 4, 1973, the independent Egyptian Bridge Federation was registered under number 19/1973. In the same year it was re-registered under number 28/1973 creating the present Egyptian Bridge Federation.
