Following is the example Mr. Edward T. Barco published in The Bridge World, in the December issue of 1935. As explained by him, the Barco Squeeze is a triple-double squeeze, exerting pressure on both opponents in three suits. Any additional information concerning Mr. Edward T. Sixth Trick
1. The declarer leads the 6 of Hearts.
2. West discards the 2 of Spades.
3. Dummy discards the 4 of Spades.
4. East is squeezed, and finally discards the 8 of Spades.
   
Seventh Trick
1. The declarer leads the 7 of Hearts, the last trump card.
2. West becomes then squeezed in three suits, Spades, Diamonds, and his singleton King of Clubs.
3. If West discards a second Spade, declarer makes the contract.
4. If West discards the King of Clubs, declarer makes the contract.
5. If West discards a small Diamond, declarer enters the dummy with a Spade, plays Double-Dummy, and plays the Jack of Diamond.

Be aware whether or not the feature is alertable or not and whether an announcement should or must be made. Check with the governing body and/or the bridge district and/or the bridge unit prior to the game to establish the guidelines applied. Please include the particular feature on your convention card in order that your opponents are also aware of this feature during the bidding process, since this information must be made known to them according to the Laws of Duplicate Contract Bridge.
